Yoga has many healing benefits for your mind, body and soul. Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body.
Lisa has been practising Yoga for 20 years and has just returned from living and teaching in the french Alps. Lisa has also attended Yoga workshops in London, India and Thailand to continue her learning. She qualified in Vinyasa flow 200hr TT in 2009 in Ibiza with Still flowing Yoga.
This mini retreat is designed for ladies in their 2nd and 3rd trimester.
We will begin with a gentle pregnancy yoga flow (no experience needed), followed by some restorative postures to fully relax & restore the mind and body in preperation for a hypnobirthing script and the most healing and profound sound journey.
The pregnancy flow will be designed specifically for the rapidly changing body and mind of the expectant mother. It will be gentle, allowing the body to stretch and strengthen safely, helping with many pregnancy related ailments, incorporating some longer held restorative poses to soothe the nervous system with a guided hypno-birthing script to allow your mind to release stress and anxiety you may be feeling during this time.
It is important to strike a balance by also practicing gentler, more restful poses that teach mum-to-be how to soften and surrender when she needs to relax. Perhaps one of the greatest benefits of quieter, restorative poses is that they offer the mother time to be with her baby, listen to her baby and to her own body and, if anything, the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of her inner thoughts and feelings.
The final part of the workshop will be a profund healing sound jouney by Samantha Bowers
The crystal bowls are tuned to the specific vibrational frequencies found within our body’s energy or chakra system. When sound moves through the air and touches us, it causes our cells to move in different directions at a different speed, in rhythm with the sound wave. We move into harmony with the sound wave as it enters into our very cells.
Mother + baby will be bathed in the soothing, nourishing vibrations of the CRYSTAL BOWLS. A session brings a sense of calmness to the body, mind+ spirit. It offers emotional+ energetic balance as well as nourishment to both you + your baby. It aligns the chakra system as the bowls are played with pure intention and REIKI energy.
The workshop will help prepare you for birthing and motherhood and provide quality time to for you to connect with your unborn baby and other expectant mums.
At the end of the session we will serve a delicious nutritous 2 course lunch for you to enjoy with your fellow mums to be.

Vinyasa flow is a fusion of various styles of yoga.The style concentrates on breath synchronized movement, one movement one breath creating a union between the two sides, energetic in ways and simply flowing creating a beautiful balance, leaving you feeling invigorated yet with a deep residing peace.
My classes will lead you into a dance with your breath, body and mind.
In this style of yoga expect to work hard and get warm as we stoke the inner fires and send energy pulsating through the body.
Yin & Restorative Yoga
Yin Yoga is based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. Yin is the stable, unmoving, hidden aspect of things.
In the body, the relatively stiff connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, fascia) are yin.
A Yin Yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, whilst I move around using gentle thai yoga massage techniques and I guide you with breath to help you soften in to the pose.
Pregnancy Yoga Flow
These Pregnancy yoga classes are designed specifically for the rapidly changing body and mind of the pregnant mother. I have created my own flow’s, modifying some of my Vinyasa experience. They are gentle, sociable classes, allowing the body to stretch and strengthen safely, helping with many pregnancy related ailments. The classes help prepare you for birthing and motherhood and provide quality time to for you to connect with your unborn baby and other expectant mums.
Mums ‘N’ Bubs Yoga
Post-natal yoga class designed for mum and baby. A wonderful opportunity for you as a new mum to ease your way back into exercise after the birth of your baby. Discover how yoga can help you stretch, strengthen and tone your body.
Whether you are new to yoga or reconnecting with it, these classes will restore your sense of wellbeing.
The morning sickness, achy lower back, and fatigue of pregnancy have passed. But for new mamas, a whole other different set of physical conditions often accompanies the bliss of loving your little creation. Luckily, a few simple yoga poses address the most common concerns. Our bodies are always in transition, so don’t think that you have to be exactly the way you were before pregnancy, but you can expect to be healthy, vital, and strong again. Mum’s aren’t the only ones who can benefit from yoga; a few basic moves for your baby can make your infant more comfortable and calm.
Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
